Allison Guenther brings with her an extensive background in advocacy and outreach as well as a desire to help connect parents to the educational option that best meets their child’s needs. Prior to joining PEFNC as Vice President of External Affairs, Allison worked at Prevent Child Abuse North Carolina, guiding outreach and advocacy strategies for child maltreatment programs. She spent the first six years of her career as Legislative Director of the North Carolina State Grange, representing the voices and interests of the organization’s membership at the legislature related to agriculture and rural issues. In her role as Outreach Director at PEFNC, Allison’s work is focused on listening to the voices of parents and school leaders from across the state.
Allison earned a bachelor’s degree in history and political science from North Carolina State University.
